(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO)  Delmas and R.J. Conley both invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 6-7 for the 14th Annual 'Dream 100.'  R.J. had the best weekend of the duo, although his 'Dream 100' ended upside down.  On Friday night, June 6, R.J. timed in twenty-seventh fastest of the 122 entrants during qualifying at the "Big E."  When the dirt-slinging action resumed on Saturday at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant, R.J. ran third in his competitive heat race to earn the fifteenth starting spot in the $100,000 to win A-Main.  The Wheelersburg, Ohio native's 'Dream 100' only lasted ten laps, as his #71c unfortunately wound up on its top in turn two.  R.J. came away relatively unscathed from the incident, but his car suffered major damage and he was relegated to a twenty-fourth place performance.

Delmas qualified his familiar #71 entry in ninetieth fastest during time trials on Friday evening.  He decided to leave his Rocket racecar in the trailer on Saturday and did not compete in heat race action.  You can view complete results from the 'Dream 100' weekend online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.

“I honestly don’t know what happened when I flipped,” commented R.J. Conley tonight via telephone.  “I turned to try to avoid (Mike) Marlar and I guess I caught the cushion a little too sideways and it turned me into the fence and then over on my top.  Everything happened so quick and unexpected.  Hopefully we can keep it on all fours this weekend at Rocky Top and Portsmouth!”
